“Maggie” is the canine daughter of Sheldon and Mandy Galloway. She is a 3 year old Havanese who loves to run and play with her canine sister, Emma, a 2 year old Havanese. Maggy's favorite past time is watching Animal Planet and playing fetch with her favorite bone.
King Gumbo X
“Jake” is the canine son of David Bennet. He is 10 year old poodle and was adopted when he was one. His life is a rags to royalty story. Jake enjoys relaxing on a down comforter and abundant pillows. Jake’s human has been on the board since its conception.
Royal Duchess
“Princess,” is a 5 year old Jack Russel Terrior. She is the canine companion of Kackie Lerille and Kurt Matte. Princess is a true royal, her mother Loosie reigned as Queen File’ V. When not playing with her mother and canine sister Kristy Kringle, Princess loves chasing her cat Jessie around the back yard. Princess’ human, Kackie, has served on the Krewe's board of directors for 7 years.
Royal Duke
“Thai” is the canine son of Dawn and Billy Ortte. His is 9 year old pug. His favorite past times are going to the camp, boat riding and fishing with his human dad. Thai can’t wait to ride in the parade with his human siblings, Taylor and Hailey. Thia’s human mom, Dawn, is on the Krewe’s board.
Court Jester
"Annie" is an adopted Schnauzer. Her humans are Markell and Jon Ayo. Annie loves to sleep and play with her big dogs, Brie and Dexter. Annie’s Grandmother, Myrna, purchased her Court Jester raffle ticket. "Thanks Granny!"
Grand Marshal
"Dakota" is the canine princess of CeCe and Matt Stuller! This two year old, 3 foot tall, 90 pound Great Dane truly believes she is the size of a toy poodle and not a small horse!!! When she is not chasing squirrels in the yard, she spends her days basking in the sun or sleeping on the sofa when she can get away with it! She is proud to serve as Parade Marshal for the Krewe des Chiens and help support animal welfare in Acadiana.
